Description: This course will teach students to develop and effectively communicate scientific research and results, including skills in: critical reading of primary literature, developing meaningful hypotheses, outlining a thesis/dissertation literature review, constructing and writing a well-designed scientific proposal, presenting data, communicating effectively to professional and lay audiences, acquiring meaningful peer-review experience, and learning the basics for writing publishable journal articles.
