Course Title: Immature Insects

Course number: ENTOM 840

Description: Two credit hours, taught alternate years. Emphasis on the collection, identification, and biology of immature holometabolous insects from laboratory specimens and collections made by each student. Most of the course is spent in the laboratory learning to identify specimens, and in the field with students to expose them to different collecting techniques and the variety of habitats and biologies of immature insects. This course is designed for graduate students in entomology or the biological sciences.
