June and July of 2009

July 27, 2009 -- moderately high numbers of adult psyllids were captured on the traps especially in Tri16. No eggs and nymphs were detected in F5, but both Tri and CLC had moderate numbers of eggs and nymphs. One of the adults from CLC 18A was positive for Liberibacter. Trap in CLC 18 were moved to the filed border on July 28.
July 20, 2009 -- moderately high numbers of adult psyllids were captured on the traps especially in Tri16. Only low numbers of eggs and nymphs were detected on the leaves, mainly in CLC 18. None of the adults collected were positive for Liberibacter.
July 13-14, 2009 -- moderately high numbers of adult psyllids were captured on the traps with increases in fields Tri16 and F5. None of the adults collected were positive for Liberibacter. Very low numbers of eggs and nymphs were detected on the leaves.
July 6, 2009 -- moderately high numbers of adult psyllids were captured on the traps with increases in all of the fields except for the control plot. Numbers of eggs and nymphs detected on the leaves was still very low. Three of 42 psyllids tested positive for Liberibacter (see the July+13-14 report). All of these ‘hot’ psyllids came from CLC 18.
Field F5 - July 6, 2009
June 29, 2009 -- moderately high numbers of adult psyllids were captured on the traps in CLC18 with increases in the other fields. No eggs or nymphs were detected on the leaves. 2/24 Adults collected were positive for Liberibacter. All of these ‘hot’ psyllids came from CLC 18 (see July 6 Report).
June 22, 2009 -- moderately high numbers of adult psyllids were captured on the traps in CLC18. No eggs or nymphs were detected on the leaves. (No Liberibacter was detected in the adults.)

June 15, 2009 -- low to moderate numbers of adult psyllids were captured at all locations, but still no eggs or nymphs on plant samples. (No Liberibacter was detected in the adults.)

June 8, 2009 -- moderate numbers of adult psyllids were captured on the traps in CLC18, but no eggs or nymphs on plant samples yet. Still waiting on the test for Liberibacter on these samples.
