Dr. Wiley focuses on workforce development and student professional growth by integrating practical experiences and skills into student education and training opportunities. Her interests include designing experiential learning opportunities such as internships and industry partnerships, mentoring students to prepare them for careers in agricultural and related sciences, and collaborating with corporate and community members to expand access for all learners. Dr. Wiley also engages in research and outreach to identify best practices for building a skilled, dynamic workforce by strengthening connections between academia and industry.
