Directory of Insect Information

K-State Research and Extension has an extensive library of on-line publications and videos . Included in our pages are links to some of the articles from the Entomology Department, as well as links to publications by the Department of Horticulture, Forestry and Recreation Resources on their page of Common Plant Problems in Kansas.

We have divided the information into 8 main areas:

In addition to information on pests, there is also a section on Insecticides. It lists commonly used insecticides for field crops and for use on cattle.

A useful section is a table of common insect orders in Kansas.

If you are unable to find information on a topic, you may try a more extensive search of the Research and Extension pages.

For help in identifying a pest, or additional information on pests, please contact our Extension Diagnostician at gotbugs@ksu.edu .
