Undergraduate Programs
Entomology is the study of insects, but also includes the study of other arthropods, such as spiders, ticks and mites. Insects are the most diverse and abundant macro-organisms on earth and have a great impact on nearly every aspect of our lives. Given this diversity, entomologists can focus on a wide range of areas, including disease transmission in plants, animals and humans; production and protection of food, feed and fiber; understanding and protecting biodiversity; and emerging fields like biosecurity and digital agriculture.
